doPDF 5.3 free PDF converter

I think I’ve previously mentioned PDFCreator as a free PDF “printer”. I’ve also used CutePDF. I recently came across yet another PDF “printer” called doPDF:

Freeware. Lightweight. No nags.
doPDF is a free PDF converter for both personal and commercial use. Using doPDF you can create searchable PDF files by selecting the “Print” command from virtually any application. With one click you can convert your Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint documents or your emails and favorite web sites to PDF files.

I haven’t tried the software, but if it’s anything like PDFCreator or CutePDF, then it will work fine.

  • I have use doPDF for some time

Its actually more competant that the other 2 mentioned here, which used to go wrong occasionally and trash the file being created.
    Never happened with DoPDF

    My I mention something?
Seems daft to constantly say yoy haven’t tried it but reccomeend it
Maybe ask people who have tried it to feedback, that way we could all gain by other peoples insight?
    Just a thought

  • I appreciate your comments Ches.
This may seem like a technicality, but I do not actually recommend the software. If it sounds interesting to me, I figure it may sound interesting to other people, so I pass the word along.
I would love it if people who have used the software would leave comments.
