Save Windows XP

InfoWorld has started a campaign to Save Windows XP:

Microsoft plans to end most sales of Windows XP on June 30, despite a deep reluctance by many business and individuals about moving to Vista. InfoWorld believes such an expensive, time-consuming shift with problematic benefits should not be forced on Windows users, so we have decided to rally XP users to demand that XP be kept available.

The web site has a countdown clock as well as a petition which as of the time of this posting, has over 30,000 people who have “signed” it. If you love Windows XP and would like to stay around a while longer, then support the campaign.

I am a Director for an IT deptartment in Ft Collins, CO and the majority of our users are using Windows XP. We have been testing Windows Vista Business and it is very problamatic and will not work with a lot of our software.

I agree and think Microsoft should continue selling and support Windows XP.

What is wrong with Mocrosoft anyway ?? $$$$$ ?? They put new versions of Windows on the market before they are even ready and working properly, and they keep patching and patching and patching it again, until it works decently, and then, as if it was not annoying enough to have all those patches, once it finally work well and everybody is use to it, they put up another new version for sale and almost force people to buy it.Even more…the new version is not even compatible with the software and hardware that we have, and if we want to have it, we have to update EVERYTHING, hardware and software. That is RIDICULOUS !!!!! Are they so money hungry that they don’t even care about their customers anymore?? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!! Let us keep Windows XP or many people will switch to another OS.!! And I am not even mentionning Internet explorer…!!! Another pain in the ass !Don’t get me started with that lemon !!!! I HATE MICROSOFT !!!!!!!

I would like all the people that agree with me to respond and to sign this petition to save Windows XP. Let’s show them that it is because of US that they are making millions of dollards and that we expect some consideration.!
