GMail has increased mailbox storage limits to 2GB today. April Fools joke? It does not appear to be. Logging into my Gmail account several times today, the available space has been steadily increasing. And the GMail login page currently shows a counter on how big the mailboxes are limited to. Watch it grow to 2 GB.
On a similiar note, Yahoo announced they will be increasing storage limits for Yahoo Mail users to 1 GB.
