There is a new commercial by Zellers with a catch tune and I wanted to find out if it was a real song, or a jingle written for the commercial. A quick search of the Internet brought me to AdTunes.com

It sounds like Robert Palmer, I can not think of the song. Everytime I se and hear the Zellers commercial I feel like it is on the tip of my tongue.
The good Tanyas song I think is called Lonesome blues.
For a long time I thought it was the McGaragal sisters from Montreal in the 1960’s

the song is by Bedouin Soundclash and its called ‘When the Night Feels my Song’, its on their newest album ‘Sounding a Mosaic’
Bedouin Soundclash are a great band! They started playing together at Queen’s University in Kingston (where I went to school!). I saw them live several times when I was at Queen’s and a few times in Toronto and they are fantastic. Pick up their albums if you have a chance!

The song from the Zellers commercial is indeed “All That I Know” by The Marble Index from their brand new CD “Watch Your Candles Watch Your Knives”. It is a great follow up CD to their spectacular first self-titled CD.
