I have a Google Account and use Google Reader several times a day. As you&#8217;ve no doubt heard, Google Reader will be discontinued as of July 1, 2013. To put it mildy, this sucks! I don&#8217;t understand why Google doesn&#8217;t just leave it up. They haven&#8217;t added any new features to it in a long time anyway. Or what about releasing the code as open source? It&#8217;s a great product and there needs to be a way for it to continue.<\/p>\n<p>Well, if Google doesn&#8217;t bow to the pressure, we&#8217;ll have to find another web-based feed reader. I haven&#8217;t found one that is as good as Google Reader, but I&#8217;m still looking.
