If you have read my
review of the original Poor Richard's Web Site, then you know
that I read it after it had been out for a while and I thought
it was a little out-dated. Well, many people had this complain,
and Peter Kent has updated the book and released the second edition.
It is by no means a complete rewrite though. There are 2 less
chapters in the new book (combined with others). The general content
is still the same, but updated to reflect new technologies and
new trends.
If you haven't read the original Poor Richard's Web Site, then
this is still an excellent book to get. It will walk you through
basic web site information, and includes a fabulous "Finding
a Web Host" chapter gives you 41 questions to ask when looking
for a place to host your site. Take the time to read my review

If you have read the original Poor Richard's Web Site, then you
probably don't need the Second Edition. After reading the first
one, you probably have enough of a grasp on web site terminology
and technology not to need this refresher.
